- Tan Ying Tong Shannon competed in both the Girls' 100m and 200m events at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain. In the 100m, she clocked 12.53 seconds in the heats to advance to the semifinals, where she ran 12.33 seconds to finish 12th overall. She went on to represent Singapore at the SEA U18/U20 Athletics Championships in Medan, Indonesia, where she made a key contribution to the Girls' U18 4x100m relay team's silver medal finish, also clocking a new personal best in the individual 100m final. Her performances across two major competitions in 2025 mark her as a versatile and exciting young sprinting talent.
