- Profile
- Ang Chen Xiang is a national record holder in the 110m hurdles and one of Singapore's most decorated track and field athletes. A paediatric resident at NUH, he balances his medical career with elite competition, having broken the national record in his event over 17 times. His career highlight came at the 2023 SEA Games, where he won gold in the Men's 110m hurdles, Singapore's first in that event since 1967, before claiming silver at the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok and reaching the Asian Games final that same year. His philosophy: in a highly technical event like the hurdles, experience and skill mean the best is often yet to come.
