- Thiruben S/O Thana Rajan is a Singaporean middle-distance runner and the national record holder in the men's 800m, having broken a 38-year-old record at the Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi, South Korea in 2025 with a time of 1:49.94, becoming the first Singaporean to dip under 1:50 in the event. He started racing competitively at 14 and broke the national U18 400m record in just his third race over that distance. At the SEA Games 2021 in Hanoi, he won silver as part of the men's 4x400m relay team, and at the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia, he was part of the quartet, alongside Calvin Quek, Zubin Muncherji, and Ng Chin Hui, that broke the national 4x400m relay record. He also competed at the Asian Games 2022, and returned for his fourth SEA Games in 2025, where he combined with Quek, Muncherji, and Reuben Rainer Lee to win bronze in the same event.
