  • Marc Brian Louis is a Singaporean sprinter and Olympian who holds the national records in the 60m, 100m, and 200m. He made his senior international debut at the SEA Games 2021 in Hanoi, winning bronze in the men's 100m and contributing to Singapore's first relay medal in seven years, before stepping up at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, where he broke U.K. Shyam's 22-year-old national 100m record with a time of 10.27 seconds. At the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia, he claimed silver in the men's 100m, marking Singapore's first medal in the event since 2011, along with another relay bronze. He went on to compete in the men's 100m at the Paris 2024 Olympics before withdrawing due to injury, and continued his record-breaking form into 2025, smashing the national 200m record with 20.89 seconds to become the first Singaporean man under 21 seconds. At the SEA Games 2025 in Bangkok, he claimed silver in the men's 100m in 10.38 seconds, edging Singapore closer to ending the country's decades-long wait for a men's sprint gold at the Games.
