- Ethan Yikai Yan is a national middle-distance runner who developed his passion for the sport through family runs and school competitions, excelling at the National Schools Championships from primary school all the way to junior college. At the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, he set a new personal best on his Team Singapore debut in the 1500m, surpassing his previous mark by three seconds. He has since continued to improve, clocking a personal best of 4:01.26 in 2025.
