At just 14, she made her SEA Games debut at the 2025 Games in Thailand, stepping in as a last-minute replacement for an injured teammate in the women's 4x100m medley relay final, with barely 20 minutes' notice, and helped the team claim gold in a meet record time. In the same competition, she broke the national women's 200m backstroke record with a time of 2:16.51, surpassing the long-standing mark set by swimming legend Tao Li in 2009.
