- Quah Ting Wen is Singapore's most decorated SEA Games athlete of all time, having made history at the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok by becoming the first athlete to amass 63 medals at the biennial event, surpassing the previous record of 62 held by fellow Singaporean swimming icon Joscelin Yeo. Her 34th gold medal came in the women's 100m butterfly, won just 0.01 seconds ahead of her younger sister Quah Jing Wen, in a moment that came exactly 20 years after her SEA Games debut. A three-time Olympian who made her debut at the 2008 Beijing Games, Quah has represented Singapore at the highest levels of international swimming for over two decades, specialising in butterfly, freestyle and individual medley events.
