- Daryen Ko Xin Tze was chosen as one of Singapore's two flag bearers at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, a recognition of his standing as one of the contingent's most promising athletes. In the Boys' 400m Hurdles, he set a new personal best, U17 and U18 national record of 53.52 seconds in the heats to qualify first overall out of 11 competitors, before producing another remarkable effort in the final, stopping the clock at 53.56 seconds to finish fourth out of eight, narrowly missing out on a podium finish.
