Liang Chou has participated in many overseas competitions of various scales, clinching his first medal (bronze) in the 2011 SEA Games. In the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore, Liangchou did Singapore proud with eight medals (2 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze) out of his nine events, scoring more medals than any other Singaporean across all sports at the Games.
