    • Toh Wei Soong is one of Singapore's most decorated para athletes, with five gold medals at the Asian Para Games and eleven gold medals at the ASEAN Para Games. He also won the first-ever para sports medal for Singapore at the Commonwealth Games, a bronze in 2018, and has competed at two Paralympic Games. He was appointed Singapore's flag bearer at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games opening ceremony, an honour he described as an outstanding moment in his eleven-year career as a national athlete. Diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis at two years old, Toh first took up swimming at six as a form of therapy, and has been coached throughout his career by former Singaporean Olympic swimmer Ang Peng Siong.
