- Janelle Tong Jing Xuan is a Singaporean para swimmer who competes in the Women's 400m Freestyle S10 event. Recommended to take up swimming by her physiotherapist as a child, she has since become one of the youngest members of Singapore's para swimming team, making her international debut at the Asian Youth Para Games. She won a silver medal in the Women's 400m Freestyle S10 event at the ASEAN Para Games 2023, also breaking national records in the 50m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley events at the same Games. Her long-term goal is to qualify for the Paralympic Games, and she continues to push herself to swim faster with every competition.
