- Ethan Chia Han Wei competed in the Mixed Optimist event at the 2023 SEA Games alongside Cheryl Yong, earning a silver medal for Singapore. At the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, Ethan made a remarkable comeback after suffering appendicitis just three weeks before the Games, clinching gold in the Boy's Optimist event, his first individual SEA Games medal, even before the final day of racing. He led the seven-boat fleet from the opening day, posting four first-place finishes in the first five races to build an unassailable lead.
