- Amanda Ng was a national sailor and windsurfer for 15 years, having first picked up sailing at the age of seven. She represented Singapore at the 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2018 Asian Games, as well as multiple SEA Games, competing in the women's RS:X windsurfing class. Her qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics came against extraordinary odds, after suffering a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament tear in her knee during her Olympic qualifiers in Oman, yet racing through the pain to secure her spot. Her decade-and-a-half career as Singapore's national windsurfer has paved the way for the next generation of Singapore windfoil and windsurfing talent.
