- Profile
- Anya Alessia Zahedi was one of Singapore's joint-youngest athletes at the 2025 SEA Games, competing in the Girls' Optimist event at just twelve years old. She won silver in the event, finishing second out of six competitors at the Thailand National Sailing Club in Chonburi. Anya began sailing at seven years old, inspired by her older sister Nia Zahedi, who also represented Singapore at the same Games and won bronze in the Girls' ILCA4 event, making it a memorable family double on the regional stage. Heading into the Games, she had won the Optimist girls' division at the Mussanah Race Week and was crowned the top female sailor at the 2025 Optimist Asian and Oceanian Championships.
