- Chia Teck Pin, paired with Ellyn Tan in the Mixed 29er, raced their hearts out despite physical discomfort during the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia and overtook the overnight leaders from Malaysia to clinch the gold medal. Following the Games, Chia enlisted for National Service, with the successful 29er pairing parting ways after the event. A technically gifted sailor with a memorable Games debut, Chia returned for the 2025 edition, continuing to represent Singapore in the 29er class on the regional stage.
