- Ellyn Tan Jiamin partnered Chia Teck Pin in the Mixed 29er at the 2023 SEA Games, where the pair overcame physical illness throughout the campaign to win gold in Sihanoukville. Their coach kept the pre-race focus on process rather than results, and a strong start allowed them to seize the lead and hold on for the title. After the Games, Ellyn returned to her final year of university and turned her sights toward mastering windsurfing, with ambitions to compete at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
