- Tang Yong Siang, also known as Garie Tang, is a Singaporean ju-jitsu exponent and former professional MMA athlete who has also represented Singapore in freestyle wrestling and combat sambo. He won bronze in sambo at the SEA Games 2019, before transitioning his focus to ju-jitsu, where he claimed silver in the men's Ne-Waza No Gi 56kg category at both the SEA Games 2021 in Hanoi and the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia, narrowly missing gold on the latter occasion due to a head-to-head record tiebreak despite finishing level on points. Reflecting on the result, Garie said the experience motivated him to keep training and proving himself against the region's best.
