- Amirul Syafiq Bin Shah Eran is a full-time coach and operations manager at a local martial arts gym who previously competed in MMA and Muay Thai before transitioning into jujitsu, realising his dream of representing Singapore when he made the national team in 2017. At the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia, he claimed a bronze medal in the Men's Ne-Waza GI Under 62kg event, and has also won silver at the 2022 Asian Championships. His journey from combat sports to jujitsu, and his eventual podium finish at the SEA Games, reflects the dedication and resilience that have defined his athletic career.
