- V Lavin Raj is one of Singapore basketball's most recognisable figures, standing at 6'7" and affectionately nicknamed "Singapore Shaq" for his imposing presence on the court. He made his senior national team debut at just 16, becoming one of the youngest players ever to represent Singapore at that level, and has since gone on to compete at the 2017, 2019 and 2021 SEA Games. A forward who started playing the sport at the age of seven after being spotted by a school teacher, he continues to be a key part of the national setup.
