- Cheryl Poon Shuwen is a national basketball player who has represented Singapore at the 2015 and 2021 SEA Games, as well as the 2017 FIBA Women's Asia Cup Division B. A consistent presence in the national women's basketball setup, she was also part of the Singapore team that claimed bronze at the 2016 SEABA Championship, Singapore's first medal at the event since their gold in 2004.
