- Kaitlyn Joy Chia was born on 22 July 2006 and began rhythmic gymnastics at the age of seven after being selected for her school team, training initially under Teng Lao Shi at Releve Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy before progressing to the National Training Centre under coach Irina Bessmertnaya. She has represented Singapore at the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships and the 2019 Asian Junior Championships, establishing herself as one of Singapore's brightest young rhythmic gymnastics talents. She was part of the three-athlete rhythmic gymnastics team alongside Katelin Heng and Sophia Ho that represented Singapore at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. A student at Raffles Girls' School, Kaitlyn draws inspiration from Italian rhythmic gymnastics star Sofia Raffaeli and prepares for competition by visualising her routines the night before.
