- Joel Koh Jia Wei is a Singaporean badminton player who made the decision to leave school in 2018 to pursue a full-time career in the sport, having represented Singapore at the Youth Olympic Games that same year. He has been a consistent contributor to Singapore's men's team across multiple SEA Games editions, including the SEA Games 2021, the SEA Games 2023, and the Asian Games 2022, helping the team to bronze on each occasion. He continued his national team commitments at the SEA Games 2025 in Bangkok, where Singapore again claimed bronze in the men's singles and men's team events.
