- Chew Jie Rui represented Singapore in the Boys' Singles at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, where he gave his all in the Round of 32 against China's Luo Jingyu, the eventual gold medallist. Despite falling 0-2, he demonstrated great composure and grit against one of Asia's top youth players. The Boys' Singles gold ultimately went to China's Luo Jingyu, with Chew's opponent going on to win the entire tournament.
