- Jaslyn Hooi Yue Yann is a national women's singles badminton player who has been part of the Singapore team since 2017. She represented Singapore at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, reaching the semi-finals despite playing through a foot injury, and has since gone on to claim team bronze medals at the 2019, 2021 and 2025 SEA Games. A three-time Singapore national champion in women's singles, she has been supported under the spexScholarship programme since 2019 and was a recipient of the 2021 Annabel Pennefather Award, which recognises young women who have excelled in sport.
