- Anish Edward Paraam is a Singaporean cricket all-rounder and one of the most decorated members of the national men's team. A right-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, Paraam has represented Singapore since 2008 and is a nephew of Singapore cricket pioneer Stacey Muruthi, with his brothers Navin and Prasheen also having represented Singapore in the sport. He represented Durham MCC University in first-class cricket during the 2014 English season, and is one of the few Singaporeans to have played at that level. At the 2023 SEA Games, he delivered a stunning unbeaten century against the Philippines, helping Singapore claim gold in the Men's Sixes event. He has competed at the SEA Games, Asian Games, and across T10 and T20 formats.
