- Ong Wei Yu is a national beach volleyball player who was scouted for the sport after graduating from secondary school, having previously played netball and indoor volleyball. She represented Singapore at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast before making her SEA Games debut at the 2021 Games in Hanoi, partnering Eliza Chong in the women's pairs event. She also competed at the Songkhla Beach Volleyball FIVB event, qualifying through to the main draw, before retiring from competitive beach volleyball after the 2021 SEA Games campaign.
