Casually known as Fareeq amongst friends and family, he is in his 2nd year at ITE College East studying Sports Management. He has been in Pencak Silat competitively since he was 4 and comes from a household that enjoys and loves the sport as well. His parents and sisters are his biggest inspiration. Both parents and sisters never fail to support and motivate him. His biggest aspiration is to achieve Gold in major competitions like World Championships and SEA Games. His daily motto is ‘stay positive as life is too short to fret or worry. There is always a solution to every problem. And smiling goes a long way’
