  • Charmaine Chua Jia Ying is a Singaporean softball player who competes in the Women's Team event. She began her softball journey in primary school, drawn to the sport by the catcher's gear, and joined the national youth squad in 2015 before progressing to the open squad in 2017. She even deferred her A-Level examinations to represent Singapore at the SEA Games 2019, reflecting her deep commitment to the sport. She went on to represent Singapore at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, and continued her campaign at the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand, where she served as one of the key players on a team determined to claim its first women's gold at the Games.
