- Teo Zhi Xuan is a Singaporean rower who was recruited into the sport from dragon boat racing, having previously captained her university's dragon boat team before being identified for her diligence and strong training ethic. She represented Singapore in the Women's Double Sculls at the SEA Games 2021 in Hanoi, partnering with Tokyo 2020 Olympian Joan Poh, and went on to compete at the Asian Rowing Championship in Thailand and the Asian Games 2022, balancing her elite training with a full-time career in pharmaceutical sales. She has continued to build on her rowing career since, winning the 1000m Lightweight Women's Single Sculls category at the 2023 Australian Masters Rowing Championships.
