- Joel Chiu Ka Jyn is a national foil fencer and Singapore Sports School alumnus who made a memorable SEA Games debut at the 2021 Games in Hanoi, claiming gold in the men's foil team event on his first appearance. The men's foil team retained their title for a third consecutive Games, beating Malaysia 45-28 in the final. A consistent performer on the domestic circuit, he has also claimed the Singapore Senior Challenge men's foil title and was named the Singapore Schools Sports Council Best Sportsboy for Fencing in 2022.
