- Au Eong Tian Wei Jonathan is a Singaporean fencer and fourth-year medical student at the Nanyang Technological University's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, who made history at the SEA Games 2021 in Hanoi by becoming the first Singaporean to win gold in the men's individual foil event. He won all five of his pool bouts en route to the final, capping off a dominant run through the competition, and has continued to represent Singapore's strong national foil programme at subsequent editions of the Games.
