  • Ezell Low Qing Wei made his SEA Games debut at the 2025 edition in Bangkok, competing in the Men's Speed event at the Bangkok Sport Climbing Centre on 13 December. Despite finishing fourth and feeling "really sad" about narrowly missing the podium, he was proud of the way he coped with competing against opponents from nations with better training facilities. Looking to the future, he expressed hope that Singapore would host sport climbing at the 2029 SEA Games, noting that Singapore has strong talent in the sport but lacks facilities, saying: "We only have one speed wall and it can be tough to compete against other people when they have better facilities."
