Sport Climbing
- Profile
- Asher Gavin Chiam Kai Chen is one of Singapore's most experienced sport climbers on the international circuit, having competed at IFSC World Cup bouldering events across an active career spanning from 2017 to 2025. He represented Singapore in the Men's Bouldering event at the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok, competing at the Bangkok Sport Climbing Center. Sport climbing returned to the SEA Games for only the second time at the 2025 edition, following its debut at the 2011 Games in Indonesia, with Singapore's team producing a strong showing that included medals in the men's bouldering and women's events. Asher's Games appearance reflects his standing as a cornerstone of Singapore's sport climbing programme.
