- A four-time Paralympic sailor, Tan Wei Qiang Jovin successfully transitioned to Boccia in 2022 to keep his sporting dreams alive. He has since achieved remarkable success on the international stage, most recently capturing the Men's BC1 title at the Montreal 2026 World Boccia Cup by defeating the world No. 1 and reigning Paralympic champion. His rapid ascent in the sport is further highlighted by gold medals at the 2026 ASEAN Para Games and the 2025 Canberra World Boccia Challenger. Balancing his elite training with a role as a certified sailing coach, he remains driven by the goal of representing Singapore at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics.
