  • Hiroshi Tai is one of Singapore's most exciting golfing talents, born in Hong Kong to a Singaporean father and Japanese mother and introduced to the sport at age four at Singapore Island Country Club. In 2024, he became the first Asian golfer to win the NCAA Division I Men's Individual Championship in the tournament's 127-year history, competing for Georgia Institute of Technology. That victory earned him a place at the 2025 Masters Tournament at Augusta National, making him the first Singaporean to compete in the event. He made a strong start, finishing as the top amateur after the first round. Off the course, he enjoys fishing and boating.
