    • Syahidah Alim is the first female archer to represent Singapore at the Paralympic Games, and she reached the quarter finals at Rio 2016. She made her major Games debut at the 8th ASEAN Para Games in Singapore in 2015, bagging two gold medals. In 2019, she became Singapore's first ever world champion at the World Archery Para Championships in the Netherlands. Syahidah was also the Chairperson of the Singapore Para Athletes Commission (2018-2020) and a member of the Asian Para Committee (AsPC) Athletes Committee (2018-2022). Syahidah has won a place for Team Singapore in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. With her stellar performance in past games, her participation at the the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is highly anticipated.
