- Lim Qi Mao, known as Alex, is a national para compound archer born with spina bifida, a condition that affects the spine and spinal cord. Rather than letting his condition define him, he took up archery and has used the sport to develop focus, mental toughness and resilience. He has reached a career-high world ranking of 99 in the compound open men's category, competing on the international para archery circuit and representing Singapore in both the individual 50m compound and mixed team events.
