- Muhammad Nur Ariq Bin Yaakub is a Singaporean para sprinter who competes in the Men's 400m T20 event. Inspired by sprint legend Usain Bolt, he took up running at the age of 16 and went on to win gold in the Men's 400m T20 (Under 18) event at the Asian Youth Para Games. He made his Asian Para Games debut at the 2022 edition in Hangzhou, having broken his own national record multiple times in the lead-up to the Games. He continued his progress at the ASEAN Para Games 2023 and 2025, consistently setting new personal bests along the way.
