- Kester Loy qualified for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the men's 67kg weightlifting event through his world ranking, representing Singapore on one of the sport's biggest stages. A coach as well as a competitor, Kester holds a Bachelor of Science from Edinburgh Napier University and has worked to grow the sport in Singapore both as an athlete and as a weightlifting coach at MethodX and Level Singapore. He continues to compete and contribute to the development of Olympic weightlifting in Singapore.
