- Gai Tianrui is a national air rifle shooter who made an impressive impact as one of Singapore's young shooting debutants at the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi. The son of veteran national shooter Gai Bin, he claimed a silver medal in the mixed 10m air rifle team event at the 2021 SEA Games. He has since gone on to win team gold at the 2022 ISSF Grand Prix in Jakarta alongside Lionel Wong and Marat Lleyton Veloso, and represented Singapore again at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
