- Gadiel Raid Al-Qudrah Misso took up wrestling in 2021, drawn to its dynamic nature as part of his study of psychology. Starting from scratch, he quickly impressed at local wrestling events, with the Wrestling Federation of Singapore investing in overseas benchmarking opportunities that ultimately led to him qualifying for the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia, exceeding expectations along the way. He competed in the Men's Greco-Roman 77kg event at the Games, forming part of a Singapore wrestling contingent that delivered one of its most competitive performances at the biennial event in recent memory.
