Patricia's major competition debut was at the 2012 World Championships in Poland. Formerly a goalkeeper, she now plays zoner during defence and driver/winger during attack. This makes her an all-rounder player who is versatile and flexible. Patricia was part of the team that won Singapore's first Asian Championships title in 2015 and also contributed to the team's golden win at the 2019 edition.
