- Wong Kohei is a member of Singapore's national men's baseball team, and was the squad's first professional player based in Japan when he competed in Singapore's first ever Asian Games baseball campaign at the 2022 Games in Hangzhou. He returned to the squad at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, where the team opened with a strong win over Laos before finishing fourth after a bronze medal match defeat. His experience playing professionally has added valuable depth to the national squad.
