- Cherie Tan Shi Hua is one of Singapore's most decorated bowlers, becoming the first Asian to win the QubicaAMF PWBA Players Championship and the Masters trophy at the World Bowling Women's Championships. Her career spans over a decade of international honours including multiple SEA Games medals and PWBA titles, highlighted by gold at the 2023 IBF World Championships and silver at the 2025 edition, both in the doubles event. Bowling clearly runs in the family as her sister is a fellow national bowler.
