- Alex Puan Yi Wei is one of Singapore's most experienced cuesports athletes, having competed at the SEA Games across two decades. He claimed a silver medal in the English billiards doubles at the 2005 SEA Games, and finally clinched gold at the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, partnering legendary cuesports master Peter Gilchrist to win Singapore's first-ever English billiards doubles title at the Games, beating Myanmar 3-1 in the final.
