    • Ethan's journey with the Singapore National Team began at the age of 19, when he earned a spot on the team. Together with his partner Koen Pang, Ethan defied all expectations during their debut at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The duo was impressed by reaching the top four in the men's doubles event, showcasing their remarkable skill and determination. The experience of competing against world-class athletes on such a prestigious stage has undoubtedly propelled them forward, paving the way for future success. Ethan's passion for table tennis ignited at the STTA Toa Payoh Zone Training Centre, where he began playing at the age of 5. He then joined the STTA Junior Development Squad, training alongside national players in the STTA Training Hall. It was there that he first encountered national paddlers, inspiring him to work tirelessly toward his goal of becoming a national player. Ethan's success in various competitions speaks volumes about his talent and dedication to the sport. At the 2023 SEA Games, he played a pivotal role in the Men's Team event, helping Singapore secure a gold medal. Additionally, he earned a joint bronze medal in the Men's Doubles category, further solidifying his status as a top player in the region. His accomplishments extend to the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he won a bronze medal in the Men's Doubles event and a silver medal in the Men's Team category. Similarly, Ethan emerged victorious in the Men's Doubles event at the 2021 SEA Games, earning a gold medal for Singapore. Furthermore, he contributed to the joint bronze medal in the Men's Team event at both the 2021 and 2017 SEA Games. In the 2017 SEA Games, Ethan also secured a silver medal in the Men's Doubles category.
