- Norliana, known to friends as Liana, was born with a rare eye condition called uveitis, leaving her blind in one eye and partially sighted in the other. Rather than letting her visual impairment hold her back, she has embraced an active sporting life, becoming a national goalball player and a member of a dragon boat team. She has represented Singapore at the ASEAN Para Games, lining up in the women's goalball squad alongside her teammates. A resilient and multi-sport athlete, Norliana is an inspiration both on and off the court.
