- Ng Ping Siang is one of Singapore's most accomplished inline speed skaters, making history as part of Singapore's first-ever roller skating team to compete at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022. Starting his skating journey at the age of ten after his parents gifted him a pair of inline skates, Ping Siang went on to accumulate multiple medals within the ASEAN region and strong global rankings in freestyle skating before transitioning to speed skating in 2017, inspired by teammate Ryan Chua. He competed alongside Ryan in the Men's 3,000m Relay at the 2022 Asian Games, representing a pioneering generation of Singapore inline speed skaters on the continental stage.
