- Madeleine Ong Xue Li is a Singaporean compound archer who made her SEA Games debut in 2015 and has gone on to become one of the most experienced members of the national archery squad, competing at the SEA Games 2021, the Asian Games 2022, and the SEA Games 2025. She won bronze in the women's compound individual event at the Asian Games 2022, and a decade after her debut, claimed two silver medals at the SEA Games 2025 in Bangkok, her best showing yet at the Games, including a narrow 228-227 defeat in the women's compound team final. Reflecting on her journey, she has spoken about the determination that has kept her going through difficult periods, and is now aiming to qualify for the 2028 Olympics, where the compound mixed team event will feature for the first time.
