- Liew Li-shan Chantal is a pioneering Singaporean open water swimmer who competes in the Women's 10km event at the SEA Games and Asian Games. A trailblazer for open water swimming in Singapore, she became the first Singaporean to qualify for and compete in the Olympic Games in the sport, finishing 23rd in the 10km race at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She previously won a silver medal in the women's 10km event at the 2017 SEA Games, becoming the first Singapore woman to medal in the discipline. At the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, she finished fifth in the women's marathon 10km, cementing her status as one of Southeast Asia's most accomplished open water swimmers.
